The boxes and top cover are spray foam insulated inside a tough HDPE plastic shell that resists UV damage, cracking, and wear. The included top feeder doubles as an inner cover and supports liquid feeding (sugar syrup) in warmer months and solid feeding (sugar bricks, fondant) during the winter. The screened bottom board includes a built-in pollen collector tray and a mouse guard, making it both functional and easy to clean.
